Il Bracco: Reviews & Ratings
This restaurant is indeed among the best that I’ve been to in the H-town. All of their appetizers and entrees are top-notch. One could tell they use fresh and quality ingredients. Service is also good, with attentive and courteous staff. It was a full house when we were there for lunch today, The crowd speaks volumes.
il Bracco delivered a wonderful dining experience from start to finish. Our server, Parker, truly elevated the evening with thoughtful menu suggestions, impressive knowledge, impeccable timing, and genuine hospitality. The table touches were perfectly executed and made us feel well cared for without ever feeling rushed. We started with the steak tartare and focaccia, both excellent, followed by a beautifully cooked strip steak. We finished with tiramisu and espressos, which were the perfect ending to the meal. The ambiance was moody, comfortable, and cozy—ideal for a relaxed yet elevated night out. We’ll absolutely be back!
I had the Al Limone linguine with shrimp and it was amazing! I haven’t had a pasta I’ve loved that much in awhile. The roasted broccolini was also delicious. The steak tartare was okay, it had a strong horseradish flavor which was a little overpowering. It came with potato chips but I would’ve preferred a side of bread. Overall I had a good experience, I would definitely come back for the pasta
Updated on 09/17/2025 I just got a call from the manager, Jesica, who was really courteous and polite. She gave me an explanation of what could have happened with my drinks and service, but what I truly appreciate is that she took the time to call and leave me with a better impression of her restaurant. That thoughtful gesture not only changed my perception but also reinforced the excellent service they strive to provide. For that reason, I’m changing my four stars to 5 stars, and I will definitely return soon for another date night with my wife. Original posted on 09/15/2025 We had a very good experience here overall. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. The atmosphere makes it a great spot for a date night. I really liked the open kitchen at the entrance and the bar right next to it; it gives the place a modern, lively touch. My only complaint was with the drinks. I ordered a Mojito that tasted like it had no alcohol at all, and they also took quite a while to arrive. For dinner, I had the Chicken Parmesan, which is not listed on the menu but was recommended by our waitress, and it was absolutely delicious. My wife went with a unique version of lasagna, which turned out to be just as tasty. Overall, it was a very good dining experience. I would definitely come back again, though probably not if I’m in the mood for cocktails.
Exceeded expectations! I’ve been hearing about this restaurant online and was excited to try it Friday night for dinner. While located in the Galleria area, I was pleasantly surprised to see it had ample free parking at the restaurant which made arrival easy. The only thing to note is while I requested a booth in my Reservation they attempted to seat me out a table and given the restaurant is majority booths, I did find that weird and had to ask for a booth instead. However, that was the only glitch of the night. The cocktails were incredible, handcrafted and expertly made, and the food was even better. From the appetizer meatballs to the in-house made focaccia bread. Everything was incredible. The real star of the show however had to be the fresh pasta. I had the spicy pasta which was incredible and also the chicken picante for entrées. While, I didn’t have an opportunity to try out this time it will most definitely be on the agenda for when I return. 10 out of 10 no notes
Great spot for American Italian dining. Servers are very attentive and the good was delicious. Seating was easy and parking is too. This is a place we'll visit again when we're in town. Go check it out and be sure to order the dessert.
This is what all restaurants aspire to be. Excellent service, great food. I had the Seared Jumbo scallops she had the Marsala Trumpets with side of shrimp. With a side of Broccolini. Everything was exquisite. Water glasses (small) never got empty. Truly this level of service should be the standard.
The food was tasty and the menu was interesting and had unique entrees. Their Chicken Piccata was phenomenal and so were the Espresso Martinis. The bartenders get backed up, so order a drink in advance. We waited a very long time for the first drink. Our second one still wasn’t ready by the time dinner was over so we cancelled it.
